District Court criminal record
Utah Xchange includes district and justice court summaries. Felonies and class A misdemeanors are District Court matters. Public District Court document images can be purchased; electronically available public filings since July 1, 2010 are included.
Justice Court criminal or traffic record
Most class B and C misdemeanors, infractions and traffic cases belong to justice courts. Match the court name on the citation. Do not assume the District Court image-purchase coverage also promises every Justice Court filing.

Choose MyCourtCase when eligible
MyCourtCase serves parties and now also permits criminal-case victims to create an account. Its case history, document viewing and linked-case features are free. Researchers are directed to Xchange.

Prepare the registration information
The instructions ask for an email address, case number and government-issued identification. Use the court’s help route if identity or case-location matching fails; for a non-Utah ID, you may request a secure link from support rather than send it through an unrelated site.
Ask Cache administration about a missing District filing
First District — Cache County is at 135 North 100 West, Logan, UT 84321; phone 435-750-1300. Identify the District case and document when asking about access or the required copy.
Older and restricted records need separate interpretation
Xchange coverage depends on when the court adopted its case system and converted older files. Converted cases can contain less detail; sealed and expunged cases are not displayed. A sparse or absent public result does not resolve the contents of every historical file.
